Double insulating glasses
The high-quality glasses have to dispose of excellent thermal and sound insulating properties and, particularly, of resistance to breaking because of the today's period that is, inter alia, characterized by call for power saving in all branches.
The double insulating glass is made of two float glass sheets with such thickness, which corresponds to its functional and mechanical demands. The distance of the sheets, the double glass consists of, is given by a variously wide and hollow distance aluminum frame filled with a desiccant - it avoids the water-steam condensation between both glasses. The circumferential connection of the glass sheets and the distance frames is made by very adhesive and permanently plastic putty the main task of which is to function as a barrier against the humidity penetration into the inter-space of the double insulating glass. The outside circumference of the glass sheets and the distance frames is filled with flexible putty with excellent physical and mechanical properties. The whole construction closes both glass sheets hermetically.
All the glasses produced by the company RI OKNA are equipped with a double insulating glass CLIMAPLUS as a standard.
